As an international Specialist Client Manager at IONOS you play a key role in monitoring performance and managing relationships with third‑party providers in the customer‑service industry. You ensure that outsourced services align with company goals and deliver high‑quality support. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you drive performance, optimise processes, and make sure Service‑Level‑Agreements (SLAs) and budget targets are met.
Responsibilities

  • Developing the outsourcing strategy: Collaborate with senior management to define and implement an effective outsourcing strategy focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner relationship management: Act as the main point of contact for all international outsourcing partners. Build strong, productive relationships to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Develop KPIs and SLAs to measure partner performance. Oversee day‑to‑day operations and conduct regular performance reviews to confirm quality standards are achieved.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies. Resolve issues quickly that could affect project timelines, quality, or budget.
  • Coordinating cross‑functional teams: Work closely with internal groups such as product management, IT, and customer service to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals.
  • Financial management: Manage budgets related to outsourcing partnerships, delivering cost‑effective solutions without sacrificing quality.
  • Continuous improvement: Conduct post‑project reviews to assess the success of outsourcing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

RequirementsBackground & Experience

  • Professional Experience:

experience managing outsourcing relationships in the customer‑service sector. Project‑management experience and vendor‑management skills are required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Tech Sector Knowledge: Broad understanding of web hosting, cloud infrastructure, domain management, servers, and web applications.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with international teams across the group, along with fluency in Italian.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, customer-centric mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working autonomously with strong time-management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and the capability to solve complex problems while driving continuous improvements.
