Working Student (f/m/d) - Logistics & Hardware Management in the Data Center

Tasks

• Goods Receiving & Inventory: You will receive deliveries (server racks, hard drives, cables), check them for completeness, and enter the data into our asset management system.
• Hardware Handling: You will assist with unboxing and preparing IT equipment for installation (e.g., mounting rails, labeling).
• Warehouse Optimization: You will maintain an overview of our small parts warehouse and ensure that consumables (SFP modules, patch cables) are always readily available.
• Shipping Logistics: You will prepare defective hardware (RMAs) for return shipment to manufacturers, ensuring secure packaging.

Qualifications

• Education: You are enrolled in a program in logistics, business administration, business informatics, or a technical field.
• Attention to detail: You work with precision—a misplaced hard drive or a mislabeled cable can have major consequences in the data center.
• Hands-on attitude: You don’t shy away from moving boxes or getting to work in the server room.
• IT Affinity: You don’t need to be a computer science expert, but you should know what a server looks like and be proficient with MS Office (especially Excel).
