About us:

The department 'IT Governance & Steering' is responsible for all cross-departmental issues within the T&D Access and BS sector. This includes the development of the IT strategy, management of the departmental budget, and the establishment of uniform processes and standards. Additionally, this area coordinates activities at our 'Engineering & Technology Centers' in Romania and Poland. The Department serves one of our sister’s companies in Germany, 1&1 Telecommunications SE.

About the team:

In the context of the 'IT Governance & Steering' department, the BPM team plays a crucial role in ensuring effective financial oversight and strategic alignment within the T&D Access and BS sector. This team is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the IT organization's budget, providing insights into financial performance, and ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to support the overall IT strategy.

The BPM team collaborates closely with various stakeholders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, enabling the organization to track progress and make informed decisions. They also facilitate the implementation of uniform processes and standards across departments, ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational goals. By coordinating activities at the Engineering & Technology Centers in Poland and Romania, the BPM team helps to streamline operations and foster collaboration, ultimately driving the success of IT initiatives within the sector.

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Junior PMO to join our company. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates in finance, business administration, computer finance, or related fields, as well as candidates with a strong interest in IT project and process management. No prior professional experience is required, but a proactive and analytical mindset is essential.

As part of the PMO, you will support the successful implementation of IT projects by ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and process compliance. You will work closely with IT project managers, performance managers and other departments, gaining valuable experience in project governance and performance management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the organization of committees for project and portfolio status.
  • Assist in the quality assurance of project documentation to ensure process compliance.
  • Assist in all processes regarding invoicing, sourcing, order management, and procurement within the responsibilities of the department.
  • Help with the preparation and distribution of project status reports.
  • Ensure process documentation is kept up to date.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for monitoring project key figures.
  • Contribute to transparent risk reporting within a given framework.
  • Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and knowledge.

We appreciate:

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in project management and process optimization.
  • Basic understanding of financial analysis, budget planning.
  • Knowledge about Power BI.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proactiveness.
  • Good communication (Romanian and English) and teamwork abilities.
  • Nice to have: Experience or exposure to Bee360 and Jira.
