IONOS secures strategic minority stake in Entri, API Platform for Domains

Karlsruhe / Berlin, 18 August 2025. IONOS has acquired a minority stake in the US-based company Entri. This strategic investment further strengthens the successful partnership between the two companies, which has been in place since 2023.

Entri provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies with APIs that simplify and automate domain setup for their customers. The partnership between Entri and IONOS enables these users to seamlessly purchase domains and connect them directly to their applications. This significantly simplifies the setup process and provides customers with direct access to additional IONOS products for digitizing their businesses.

This collaboration benefits both parties: IONOS gains qualified new customers, while Entri can offer its clients a smooth and efficient process. Furthermore, IONOS customers can easily connect their domain with the hundreds of Entri-enabled SaaS products. The successful partnership lays the foundation for future joint projects.
