Customized AI results for everyone

Karlsruhe, 29 October 2025. IONOS has introduced AI Model Studio, a new solution for better results when using AI through fine-tuning. Many companies are still hesitant to use artificial intelligence because standard AI is often too inaccurate and technically complex. Developed in collaboration with Cologne-based startup manufactAI, AI Model Studio enables companies to adapt existing AI models such as image, speech, or multimodal models without programming knowledge, using existing expert knowledge. All data is stored and processed on the secure IONOS Cloud in German data centers and is not shared with third parties.

A new standard for AI democratization

Easy to use, precise results, maximum efficiency

Accuracy and security are essential for many industries. With AI Model Studio, models can detect manufacturing defects in industry through AI-driven image analysis, for example. In the insurance and finance industries, AI Model Studio demonstrates its strength in the automated processing of complex documents.

Using an intuitive web interface, users without programming knowledge can upload their own data, check the data quality, and select a suitable model for fine-tuning. Once completed, they receive an API key to integrate their customized models directly into their own applications.

Fine-tuning existing models offers a cost-effective way to precisely implement individual requirements. The AI is not redeveloped, but supplemented with the help of a so-called LoRA file (Low-Rank Adaptation). Text and graphic data can be processed at the start, with other formats such as audio and video planned for the future.

AI Model Studio is available now. Fine-tuning and the use of small models are free of charge during the beta phase.
